Radoslav Radanov, a teacher in the Professional School of Transport and Construction “Hristo Smirnenski”, Razgrad, and Mascil multiplier, won the pirze for the best poster in the international contest Make your own poster with resources from the Scientix platform. The contest was in the frames of the STEM Discovery Week 2017.
A matter of pride for thw Institute for Mathematics and Informatics (a national contact point for Scientix) is the fact that the resources Dynamic Hearts and Snow Flakes, used by Radoslav Radanov in his work as a Mascil multiplier and included in his poster, have been developed by Toni Chehlarova in the frames of Mascil project. Except on the Scientix platform they are available at the Virtual School Mathematics laboratory (VirMathLab) of the IMI-BAS.
Radoslav’s poster Pictures of dynamic hearts and our snowy tale was one of the 105 posters submitted (via Facebook and Twitter) by 78 teachers from Europe. The jury evaluated 80 posters the public had liked and selected two as the best.
Together with the winners of the other competitions, Radoslav Radanov was invited by the project manager in Brussels to participate in the 15th Workshop "Scientific Projects in the Laboratory for Future Classrooms", which took place from 23 to 25 June.
